Question about Mintek MDP-1815 Portable DVD Player
I have a TV with 2 sets of RCA jacks (front and back). I often play my camcorder through the TV using AV cables so I know the TV jacks are fine and the cables are fine. But when I play my MDP 1815 DVD player using the same AV Cables to the same TV I get only Audio and NO Video. I have tried two different AV cables and both work with the camcorder so I trust the cables and the TV. Any chance that the jack on this DVD player requires a special AV cable? The DVD player came with a cable, but I am not sure if it is one of the ones that I have.

The AV is actually the yellow jack.
Just plug that in.
If it don't come up then you have to enable it in display options.
How you do that is click on the center of the laptop screen when the menu appears goto properties and then advanced you will see the settings.
