DVD Xcopy had been banned for sale in 2003, because of several software issue.
This is what softwarehouse says on their website:
Authentic DVDXCopy software is no longer being sold anywhere. Genuine DVDXCopy software should ONLY require a license ID and password to activate. If you are experiencing operating system failure or other technical issues relating to a DVDXCopy "activation server file", "patch" or "activation CD", contact the seller directly for an immediate refund.
DVD Xcopy will not work on newer systems, if the copy you have had been purchased over one year ago, you need to get and install a different software, eg. dvd copy software.
