Hey Steve,
Is the voltage reading at the battery? How many volts are you getting when you rev the engine to 3000RPM?.. You should get 13.8+ volts... take your battery to your local auto parts store - O'reilly's, autozone, or battery shop and have the CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) checked,, this is the true test of a battery.. if they are low.. get a new battery, then check the output.. if you are not getting the 13.8+.. have the alternator checked...

lets do this ck voltage with voltmeter at battery post on the back of you alternator. you have to have at least 12.35 volt at least. most likely around 14.-16.. but 12.35 min. any lower replace.

If/How long will it crank over before it stops? Are you saying it will crank over, but very slow? Has it been sitting quite a while. Got good spark, and fuel?
