Hello

First check that the B+ is working under load. Second disconnect the secondaries off the flyback. Now check the the HOTransistor and then ring the flyback. My guess is that the HOT and flyback are bad and possibly a couple of isolation capacitors.

Good Luck

View sonic pjd6241 no power on what is problem how find out

Check power cable first if ok then do the following
Check Data cable of monitor if it is attached to the source like CPU or any thing else. If connected then there is problem with the main power circuit board of the monitor. May be capacitors of power board are leaked which generally cause No power. See following images.

I am not sure how far you will want to do DIY repair works.
Most common failurs are due to bad caps, blown fuse or transistors in the power supply/inverter circuits.

I HAVE VIEW SONIC E70 ,IT IS WORKING FINE BUT WHEN I TURN OFF THE COMPUTER IT IS NOT AUTOMATICALLY SHUT DOWN,I HAVE TO SHUT DOWN THE MONITOR ALSO THIS PROBLEM IS ALSO OCCURS WHEN I TURN ON THE COMPUTER .

Possible Solution: Your Computer may have not configured the Monitor properly, to check, go to Start menu and Right click My Computer and select Manage then when Computer Manager is open go to Device Manager and find your Monitor and check if that device is working properly (right click on Monitor and go to Properties). Hope I helped - donman92

If you don´t have any mechanical problem with the push botons, try individually :

Power Off the monitor and press the "menu" switch, over 20 sec after the power in turned on!
