Does it beep if you try to turn the computer on without the graphics card inserted? If it does chances are only the AGP port died and you might still be able to boot the machine with an old PCI graphics card.

Samsung syncmaster 2220 blinking blue light and no image display

Here's some tricks I would try...
1. Verify the monitor's power cord is plugged firmly into the wall outlet and the back of the monitor.
2. Verify the monitor cable is firmly connected to the computer and the monitor.
3. Verify that you have turned the monitor power switch on.
4. If the power light on the monitor is not on, test the wall outlet (plug in a light or something you know works).
5. If the power light on the monitor is not on, try a different power cord.
6. If the power light is on and yellow or orange or flashing, but nothing displays, or the display is incorrect, borrow a monitor from a friend. If that works, your monitor probably needs replaced.
7. Also, you could try your display on a friend's computer. If it doesn't work, your monitor probably needs replaced. If it works properly on your friends computer, the problem may be with your computers video output port, motherboard video chip (or video card, if you have one), or drivers.

Good luck.

Canon SD850 IS showing "unidentified image" after pic is taken

There’s nothing inherently wrong with your notebook, and nothing you can readily repair; most notebooks’ video cards and their drivers aren’t equipped to display video through a projector and on your notebook at the same time. You could try updating your video drivers, but you will likely have to change your system’s primary video source to the projector. Solution:
Different PCs may require slightly different steps, but opening Display Properties in Windows XP should generally be your starting point. Click Start and Control Panel and double-click Display. In the Display Properties dialog box, click the Settings tab. At this point, you should consult your notebook’s users manual to configure your notebook to use the projector as your primary video source.

Computer powers on with no image. It is an Acer M410. If memory is removed it beeps.

this issue might something to with the memory or the video card. When computer beeps when you restart it, it means to say that the motherboard is working fine. Try to check different memory (RAM) or check also your video card. If your motherboard has an onboard video you can also use that one temporarily to check if the video card is faulty.

Have you tested that the RAM on the computer IS OK?
Have you tested that the Video card on the machine is OK?

has any real troubleshooting been done on the machine?

if he just told you the motherboard was burned without doing any other testing you are dealing with a fraud.

Dell Dimension 9200 beeps on startup, with nothing...

A beep code of 3-3-4= Video Memory(RAM) Test Failure that would explain why you get nothing on your screen the first thing you would need to do is disconnect your monitor and try it on another computer. if it works fine then the problem is your video card. If that the case and the video card is intergrated with the motherboard, you will need to repalce the motherboard --- Sorry-- Please vote me a 10 when this works

It displays colorful lines on the monitor...cant see nothing

Test your laptop with an external monitor and find out if the external video goes bad too. If both, internal and external images go bad, you have a problem with the video card.
If external works fine and only internal goes bad, most likely it’s either bad video cable or LCD screen failure.

No screen image

You gonna need an spare monitor, video card and a memory card. But first have the RAM card and the video card(if plug in) be clean or reseat. Use clean soft eraser to clean its edge connector, both side. And check your video card for dirt or stock fan if it have. Do this cleaning when unit is off and unplugged to wall socket even UPS. Also reseat the monitor cable. Then try to power it up again.

Next step;

And since it beeps it seems one component is failing or loosing its contact with the board. Then use the spare ram, then the spare card, if still not viewing any try to swap the monitor.

Or if you have no spare if cleaning only doesn't help, its practical to bring it to the expert.

I had the same problem same model. The image was off center to the right and it couldn't be fixed by the auto-image adjust or the manual adjust.

My solution was really simple, I moved a video player (RealPlayer) onto the monitor and maximized the screen, then pressed auto-adjust once. It worked.
