Question about Garmin Nuvi 660 GPS Receiver
No trauma to it as far as I know. It will work with headphones or through the radio, but I can't really drive with headphones and you can't listen to music, only the voice of Garmin on the radio. Very disappointing, as without the speaker I tend to miss turns!
Can anyone help me?
Are you on warranty? The internal speaker might be faulty, or it just might be turned off, check the settings in the garmin and see if the speaker or volume is turned off or muted.
also try the garmin webupdater
if its a setting problem the update should return settings to normals.
owners manual is availabe at
see page 4 on volume, you could also try reseting the garmin.
If noting has helped, the speaker could be broken / faulty and may need to be replaced, if you are on warranty the replacement / repair service should be completely free.
