sounds like the belt is loose. if it has a tensioner check and or replace it, if not tighten the belt. or the alternator tests ok but is actually not working at low rpm. or the battery is shorted. electricity is tricky

SOURCE: No power on a Pioneer A-77X Amplifier

The unit is probably in protect mode. Do you have any electronics repair experience? If so, we may be able to work through this. Let me know and we will try a few things. You will need a multi-meter at a minimum.

SOURCE: pc can't boot up , no display , hdd led is constatly lighted

Check CMOS battery(Coin shaped battery), it should show 2.5-3V, if not then replace and check, you can even try and test the mbd without the CMOS battery. Some mbd does not boot with a faulty CMOS battery.

SOURCE: my remote wont turn on A.C. and when I push manual

If the system does not turn on and there is not beep, it is either a low or overvoltage situation or a problem in the wiring. Check the 12VDC at thermostat and make sure that it is OK. Also, check the incoming 120VAC at the control box (unit with small phone cord)

I have a msi 785GM-E51 MOTHERBOARD IT FAILS TO POST AND THE FOUR PHASE POWER LED'S ARE LIT

Hello here is the home page:

http://www.msi.com/product/mb/785GM-E51.html#/?div=Driver&os=Win8%2064

If you download the manual you need adobe reader to read the content.

This could be a ram failure, or power supply.
Do you have another PSU you could try? This sounds like it could be the PSU or the RAM. Try using each RAM stick seperately, maybe one died.
All RAM can fail, brand RAM fails less often, but it can fail like the worst no name RAM out there.

Does there come any beebs when you press the power button ??

Good luck

My HP D530C does not power on. The power LED flashes 4 times. What is the fault? Pls let me know asap. Thanks.

HP xw6200 Workstation - Diagnostic LED Code: Four Flashes ISSUE: When the workstation is powered on, the front LED might flash red four times, once per second, followed by a two second pause. SOLUTION: The front LED flashing four times is a sign of a power failure. To fix this issue, complete the following steps:
  1. Open the access panel, and check to see if the four-wire power supply cable is properly connected to the system board.
  2. There may be a faulty device. Locate it by removing all devices and then reinstalling them one at a time until the workstation fails. Replace the device causing the failure. Continue adding devices to ensure all are functioning properly.
  3. Verify the power supply functionality, as follows:
    1. Disconnect AC power.
    2. Remove all internal power supply cables from the system board.
    3. Plug in AC power.
      • If the power supply fan spins, and the BIST LED illuminates, then the power supply is good. Replace the system board.
      • If the power supply fan does not spin, or the BIST LED does not illuminate, replace the power supply.

I have a digistat scr with a flashing red light and no heating there is nothing wrong with the batteries, this only occured after a poweer cut.

Try this first before condeming the unit.

1. Turn off the power supply to the Digistat SCR (receiver unit)
and leave for 5 seconds.
2. Turn on power to SCR unit and check red light is on.
3. Press override button No.2 and check the green light comes
on and boiler fires.
4. Press & hold down button No.1 (Keep depressed), then
press No.2 and keep depressed. {The Red LED light will flash
a couple of times and then it will go out}
5. Now release both the buttons – {the two LED lights should
come back on}
6. Get the Digistat+2RF/+3RF unit and stand two metres away
from the SCR unit with the Digistat+2RF/+3RF unit in your hand.
7. Remove the battery cover and fit the batteries.
8. The Red LED light on the SCR will now flash for approx. 7
seconds.
9. This confirms that the radio signal is being sent and
received.
10. The Digistat+2RF/+3RF and the SCR are now successfully
linked by a dedicated RF address.

How do hook up front panel power switch to motherboard

The simple way is to remove the front panel of the computer trace the wires to the front panel leds, make note of color pair to each led. The using the manual that came with the motherboard locate the schematic for the JFP1 connector on the motherboard, it show's where the leds wires connect to operate. If you have no manual, if you look very closely at the connector you will see where the led wires connect, you may have to use a magnifiying glass and flash light. You cannot damage anything if you accidently place the led wires in the wrong place. If the panel led wires are in a single connector and won't work on the motherboard, you can remove the wires from the connector by using a very small sharp pointed pick to push down the retaining tab on each wire, thus enabling it to be removed from the connector, just be patient. Doesn't turn on, but LED blinks 5 times

The flashing light is an indication of the sweep falure. Most of the time it is in the sweep output section, like the flyback transformer and or the horizontal output transistor. Most of the time it is the flyback that causes all the problems and componet blowouts in these sony TV sets, but it is also sometimes the vertical output IC that shorts out the sweep power supply. In any case a solid state set is no where to be experimenting around with and should only be worked on by a trained service tech. Good Luck
