Easy way to replace it

Replacing a water heater is no very difficult if you follow the steps.
1. If it is electric turn of the breaker and check to be sure it is the right breaker. If it is gas turn off the valve close to the water heater.
2. Turn off both the hot water and cold water valves
3. Drain all water out of the heater.
4. Disconnect the electric wiring if electric and if gas disconnect the gas line.
5. Disconnect both water lines which may have to be cut depending on how they are connected.
6. Now you can remove the water heater and discard.
7. Place new heater where old one was removed and reconnect both water lines and be sure you have a new pressure valve installed on the water heater.
8. At this point you can turn on water and check for leaks. you should also open a hot water faucet to purge the air out.
9. If no leaks go ahead and hook up the electric or gas lines and if gas is used turn it on and check for leaks using a leak detector or a spray bottle of soapy water and look for bubbles. If no leaks you can go ahead and light the heater according to its instructions.
10. If electric is used turn it on.
11. Take a long hot shower.

Water leaking onto passenger side floorboard, soaking the carpet

Your heater core has developed a leak - the wetness on the passenger side carpet is engine coolant
from a heater core leak, or a leak in one of the two hoses connected to the back of the heater core.
Your strategy: disassemble dash down to heater core, determine whether you'll need a new heater
core or new hose (or new hose clamp), then replace the offending part.

Drain valve leaking. Gor replacement part. Cannot get old valve off . Does the whole valve come off , unscrew or pull off? serial number is RN1296A 18392. Will the new part fit the same New...

If valve is dripping, buy garden hose cap and screw onto valve.
Whole valve unscrews counterclockwise.
If valve is plastic, expect it to break off.
If valve is brass, use cheater bar on your pipe wrench.
I don't know that serial number or part number, but drain valves are standard 3/4" pipe thread.
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-replace-water-heater-drain-valve.html

Drain valve can be rusted in place and impossible to remove without draining tank and putting water heater on it's side.
Install new water heater so drain valve is accessible, and buy new water heater with brass valve instead of plastic.

Our G6A-8E hot water heater started leaking shortly after being turned on. (We bought the trailer 2nd hand and this is our first time using it. It is a 2007 trailer so isn't that old.) We opened the...

I do not know the answer, or exactly which part is best to replace.
I would order all affected parts and have on-hand when work starts, otherwise you might be half done after a day of repair.
There are numerous blogs and self-help resources about atwood water heaters.

The following resource can help identify exact model number and part number for your specific heater. Plus maintenance tips.
The number of parts available and ez access to sellers of parts indicates these water heaters are frequently down, but are fully repairable.

Have an atwood 10 gal water heater that leaks but I can't find the leak. The lines are dry. Have a lot of water in interior under the bathroom tile.

Also open cover and check if element is leaking. Elements frequently leak at rubber seal.
Next suspect is rusted-out tank that is leaking through a thin-place in the tank.

Otherwise there are not many other places to check if pipes are dry, especially with the Atwood 10 gallon.
I suggest replacement.

Fridge is leaking water from the inside, on the back wall

Your freezer drain is clogged or frozen up with ice blockage. Need to remove the freezer floor liner, usually 2-4 1/4" screws holding it in - slide it out. Next slowly pour hot water over ice build up and melt all ice. The drain is under the evaporator coils (small hole near center) this connects to a pan under the refrigerator that then evaporates on its own. I usually place a couple of bowls inside fresh food area on top shelf to catch excess water dripping through ceiling of fresh foods.

Next you will need to attach a heat probe from the heater under the freezer coils and feed it into the drain in order to prevent freezing up again. Use part #819043 heat probe or strip some #14 gauge copper wire and wrap around heater once and place down through drain. Recommend the heat probe 819043 to get it right the first time.

Have a water heater drain valve leaking, currently I stopped it by usingplumbers tape and a soda bottle cao. If I turn the white screw attached to the valve it leakes less. Do I need to replace the white...

Hello tiletnickm, first, the plumber's tape and bottle cap is very clever! GREAT JOB!
Many of those valves do have a stem that can be replaced, however, finding the right parts at the big box stores can prove challenging. If you have a local plumbing supply store they seldom have the part in stock, but can usually order the right part for you.

Something you may consider if you haven't drained your water heater in the past year, ( most manufactureres recommend draining them atleast once a year to prevent buildup and extend the life of the water heater ), it could be much less time consuming to drain the tank and then change the valve.
I hope this is helpful my friend!

How to replace water pump of 1976 ford e-250

Hello, follow this steps to replace the water pump:

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable, using a screwdriver to unscrew the clamp that secures the cable to the negative (-) post. Pull the cable away from the battery post.
2. Use a jack to elevate the Ford Taurus and use jack stands to shore up the jack. Alternately, you can use tire ramps.

3. Discharge the pressure in the radiator by unscrewing the cap. Remove the drain plug located underneath the radiator. Catch the coolant in a resealable container. Clean up any spills.

4. Disconnect or remove the parts in front of the water pump, using an adjustable wrench. In order, this includes the right inner splash shield, lower heater hose, upper and lower tube bolts from radiator, air cleaner assembly, battery and battery tray, water pump belt, upper radiator hose, engine vent hose, trans axle 10-pin connector, radiator bypass hose and thermostat housing.

5. Remove the water pump mounting nuts and connector hose. Unbolt the water pump from the mount. Clean off the mounting area with a shop rag.

INSTALLING THE NEW WATER PUMP:

1. Inspect the new water pump to ensure it's identical to the old pump and free of any metal splinters or debris.

2. Arrange the new gasket onto the water pump. Place a bead of high temperature automotive sealant around the area where you removed the old pump and hold the gasket in place on the new water pump as you mount the entire assembly on top of the sealant.

3. Place the new nuts into the holes in the Ford Taurus' water pump in any order for the S-type engine and in a cross configuration on the U-type engine. Using a torque wrench while the sealant is still wet to obtain a better hold, tighten to 15 foot pounds of torque.

4. Reassemble the other engine parts in the order they came off the Ford using an adjustable wrench. Replace worn parts with new ones, as needed.

5. Replace the drain plug and refill the radiator with the amount and type of coolant specified in your owner's manual. Remove the jack stands and release the jack or drive the ford off the tire ramps.

6. Attach the negative battery cable to the post and tighten the screw on the clamp. Start the engine and check for leaks. Then, close the hood

Thanks

Leak from just at the bottom of the water heater (where the tube joins the heater).

The tube probably has a crack and is leaking.
As you may know by now cuisinart does not sell internal parts for thier coffee makers. I found mcmaster.com has the high temp tubing. try part number 5236k73
cost is about 2.50 per foot.
Note that in the coffee maker, there are two tubes, one is the cold water going down to the heater and the other tube is the hot water going back up to the top. The cold water tube has a flow regulator in it and this should be cut out of the old tube and placed into the new replacement tube (going the same direction).

Antifreeze leak

check the 2 large hoses that come from the radiator, at the radiator and at the engine. if not there then your losing water into your engine, probably means your head gasket is cracked and about to blow
