How do I get the vcr to work on my magnavox dvd/vcr DV225mg9 player? I have the player hooked up to a rf modulator, and the dvd works perfectly. I can view previously recorded tapes on the vcr but cant hear them. I cant record from the tv on the vcr. Any suggestions?

Purchase a DVD recorder/player that has a HDMI cable connection and use the connections on the TV so you'll get a hi def picture. RF will NOT give you a Hi Definition picture even if it's up converted.
