SOURCE: LINE 3 RINGS ON ONE PHONE- AND DOES NOT RING ON THE OTHER 3...

You will have to get into the programming mode and change Memory Block 4-01 for the port of each phone you want to ring. The corresponding light for the button is OFF for no ring, GREEN for ringing, and RED for delayed ringing.

SOURCE: Phone will not ring

I have the same problem for this hpone. The phone can answer and make call but not ring, of couse the answer machine function does not work. I used Rogers home phone and now the Linksys voip adaptor. But the phone works well with landline. I think the ring votage may not enough to ring the phone. Anyone get the solution?

SOURCE: phone won't ring with incoming calls

I just bought a new Uniden DECT 6.0 phone and had a similar problem. It wouldn't ring when plugged into my Linksys voip router, but my old 5.8 GHz did ring. It would get a dialtone and make calls, but when called via an outside line, it would appear as if it was ringing. If I picked up during this "silent ring," it would answer and take the call. It wasn't a ringer volume issue. I called tech support, they said on the main headset, unplug the battery, then unplug power from the base, then unplug the phone cord from the base. Wait 15-30s. Plug the phone cord, then power, then reinstall the battery. Press the End button on the phone. Put the phone on the base for 15-30s. Pick up the phone. Press and hold the Find button on the base. Do this Find thing 3 times. Put the phone back on the base. Wait 10-15 minutes. Then try calling it to see if it rings. Worked for me, finally got it to ring before I decided to return it.

SOURCE: calls cutting out with magic jack

Your ISP connection speed may be inadequate. Typically, the upload speed (outgoing voice) is much slower than the incoming speed. To check majicjack recommends that you test your system on http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ .
It's also possible that your internet provider is purposely delaying the outgoing latency in order to discourage VoIP that THEY don't provide. I think this is (or at least should be illegal) but in any case a complaint to the FCC might be in order.

Jitterbug flip won't ring. I've checked the volume and it's set at maximum What is the Jingle, I've tried both ways, no help. Exasperated, donna

Page 30 of manual at the link shown suggests a way to silence the Jitterbug.

http://www.specsserver.com/CACHE/FREOWQFWSXOG.PDF

Quoting from Page 30:

To adjust the ringer volume:
1.
Be sure the phone is open and on.
2.
Press the
Up/Down
volume button
on the outside of the phone below the
display window. Press each time you want
to advance to the next choice.
These choices will appear on the screen:
- Ringer Volume Ring Max
- Ringer Volume High
- Ringer Volume Med
- Ringer Volume Low
- Ringer Volume Silent
3.
When you're satisfied with the setting,
release the volume button.
Your Jitterbug may ring and vibrate
to alert you to incoming calls. The
ringer and keypad can be silenced
by pressing the volume button
Down
until
"Silent"
appears on the screen. Your
Jitterbug will now only vibrate to alert you
to incoming calls (This can come in handy
at a movie, a library, or any other location
where a ringer may be a distraction.

Can I set this tracfone for my mom who is old to speed dial on her contacts?

Hello, Kathi -

You may find the Tracfone speed dial instructions here helpful:
https://www.techwalla.com/articles/how-to-speed-dial-using-a-tracfone

Unsolicited advice from a "senior":
Eventually, you may wish to consider a Jitterbug phone for your mother. They are designed for seniors and have low cost monthly plans, much like Tracfone. See the Jitterbug cell phone information here:

Scroll down that page and click on the Compare Plans link.

My senior mom can't hear the cell phone ring. I have tried everyone on the phone and they aren't loud enough . is there anything i can do to get it to sound like a siron or something she can hear I but...

Better give your mom the Just5 cell phone. This phone hasvery loud sound that can catch the attention of your mom. This also has a loudvolume so she can clearly listen to the sound of your voice as well. This phoneis recommended to individuals with a hearing problem in fact. Check this out, this won't cost you a lot. My grandma is using this phone and she only pays$3.33 a month when she rarely uses her phone.

You cannot delete from call history. However, the phone keeps a list of the 10 most recent outgoing, incoming and missed calls. After 10 entries , the oldest call is deleted. If you need any further assistance you can contact me at [email protected] . Thank you, Debra

I have a motorola V186 cell phone. When I dial a number, if no one answers after 7 rings, the phone automatically cuts out and says 'no answer', then I have to dial again. My mom is just about deaf and I...

You are lucky to get 7 rings out of any cell phone.
Cell carriers limit the rings permitted to keep the traffic down. If you call another cell, it goes to voice mail. A landline just stops ringing.
