Trouble shooting starting seyteam

Hi Quinton, and the usual suspects are:
1. Spark plugs in bad condition or have an improper gap or are partially fouled.
2. Spark plug cables in bad condition.
3. Battery nearly discharged, should have 12.5 volts.
4. Loose wire/cable connection at one of the battery terminals, especially the "NEGATIVE" cable, check it at both ends, coil, or plug between ECM or ignition module.
5. Throttle controls not adjusted correctly.
6. Water or dirt in the fuel system.
7. Water or dirt in the carburetor.*
8. Intake air leak.
9. Fuel tank vent hose and vapor valve plugged, or fuel line closed off, restricting fuel flow.*
10. Enrichener valve inoperative.*
11. Engine lubricant to heavy (winter operation).
12. Ignition is not functioning properly (possible sensor failure).
13. Faulty ignition coil.
14. Valves sticking.
* Carbureted models.
Good luck and have nice day.

Why does it some times smell like a sewer?

You could be getting reverse flow though the discharge line. Also, if the discharge line is connected to a standpipe, you may be smelling sewer gas.

How to discharge crt with screw driver

This requires technical skills. Basically to discharge a crt you need a long screwdriver and a 2 wired side to side alligator clips. Unplug the set from outlet for safety. Wear a rubber shoes as you are a begginner, this in case that something has missed your body discharge it to the ground for your protection. First connect the alligator clip on the conductive part of a screwdriver since i think you are beginner. Clip the other end of alligator clip connected side to side to the crt ground, this wire is non insulated just around the crt tube. Or if you cannot find it, on most cases the tuner ground is also use. Hold the connected to ground screwdriver's insulated handle. Do not touch any conductive line of any part of a tv or the screwdriver metallic line. Try to peel off the Flyback anode through the point of your grounded through alligator clips and if you hear a little or a huge spark, again repeat it for safety reason. Thanks for using Fixya.

When a call comes in it rings one time then stops

This is often caused by a partial short on the phone line. I would first test the line at the incoming interface. If this is a standard phone line(not from a cable company or broadband provider), there is usually an outside interface box where the phone line connects to the building wiring. Open the right side of the box with a screwdriver. In this box there is typically a short line cord plugged into a modular jack(test jack), if you unplug this line cord and connect a standard phone, you will be connected to the phone line but isolated from the building wiring. Make a test call to your number with the standard phone connected to the test jack and if the problem continues then the trouble is on the phone service provider's side and you will need to report the trouble to your service provider. If the trouble does not occur with the phone connected to the test jack, then the trouble is on the building side. To find where the trouble is on the building side you will need to use a process of elimination to test each of the outlets, line cords, telephones and cabling to determine where the short is. This process can often take a lot of time and patience to find the trouble. It may be best to call a telephone tech at this point. If your service is from a cable company or broadband provider, then you will need to test the line at the equipment that converts the cable or broadband into dialtone to determine if the trouble is on the service provider side or the building wiring side. Send a comment if you need more information on finding the trouble in your building wiring, outlets or telephones.

Water is coming out of air flow gap. I installed a new air-flow gap and all new lines from air flow gap to sink (except the line from dishwasher to air flow gap) and i still have water coming out the air...

The leak in an air gap is usually caused by a clogged sink discharge line. Most of the time this is connected to the garbage disposal and there is food particulate in the drain hole where the dishwasher drain from the air gap to the garbage disposal connects.

Pull the sink connection hose off and clean the hole thoroughly. You can try testing the dishwasher/ air gap by placing the disconnected hose into a bucket during the pump out period. It should not leak. After this test...reconnect the hose to the sink connection.

If it is NOT connected to the garbage disposal then remove the hose and clean out the hole where the connection is made. This is a common problem and easily resolved by the user.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Freezing discharge line

The only way that a discharge line can freeze is if there is a restriction in it.
Are you sure it's the discharge and not the suction line?

Fujutsu mini-split 'discharge termperature abnormal' error code

This unit is what is called a Heat-Pump.It has a reversing valve in the condensing unit outside which switches you're system from cooling to heating via this valve. It has a ball bearing inside this that opens a port, and slides to close off another port to reverse the flow of freon from one season to the other. If your code indicates discharge supply air temp. abnormal, you are having a problem of some kind in your out door unit.Even though its new, I have seen these ductless split systems fail within a month. I'm am not saying that you have a lemon, just pointing out they do have problems with main board failures, Freon leaks at line connections because they are not brazed like systems with ducts. But, being this new, you should have this unit still under warranty!! For me to trouble shoot this online would be a long task, I would have to be on site. Call the Contractor now and get them out to make repairs right away. Compressor is normally a year warranty unless you get the 4 year Extention.Failures happen like this on all units, not just yours. It could be many small things that would cause a low discharge air temp. Get them back out!
Sincerely,
Shastalaker7

Discharging A iMac....

Discharging the CRT is quite tricky and dangerous, it should only be carried out by a qualified mac tech.

Never work on a mac with the power connected!

The gear you need is safty glasses, ungrounded foam pad, needlnose pliars, wire lead with alligator clip at both ends and a CRT discharge tool (if you do not have a discharge tool you can use a insulated srewdriver attached to a wire lead with alligator clips on both ends)

Use one hand keeping the other behind your back. Do not touch anything with the other had while you are discharging.

Once you have taken off the casing connect the alligator clip from the lead to the ground lug on the all-in-one system. Then slide the discharge tool under the anode cap into the anode aperture. As soon as you feel the metal of the probe touching the metal of the aperture, the CTR is discharged.

Try not to leave the machine open for any lenght of time.

You can find more information on Apples knowldge base.
