Question about Acer Aspire One A150-1006 Notebook

1 Answer

Have Acer one..did system restore on it shortly after buying it using the f10 button and it fixed the same problem i'm having right now, which is that it comes on tries to load and then doesn't..instead turns off. This time around, I've tried the same solution and it's not working. Please help. This computer belongs to my daughter and was a Christmas present from my mother. She is learning her lesson about cleaning it up and keeping it in good order, lol. Thank you and God bless.

that sounds great..now all i need to know is how? this acer doesn't have a disk insert area. i have tried to restore the system completely by pressing alt and f10 and it goes to this menu easily, then you have to press ok, then it goes to a screen where information is needed to be put in and by the time i try to read it, it disappears and the notebook turns off. still need more advise please. Thanks so much for your help and God bless.

Please do a resinstallation of the OS when the system restore fails. that would be a best solution. reinstalltion means repair of the OS.

To do a full system 'recovery' search under 'recovery' in the help screens and click on the recovery console in windows, if you can get that far.

'Restore' goes back to a particular time in the past where the system was working properly, but doesn't necessarily take it back to factory settings. You can search under that option as well if you can get into windows.

Good luck on this repair.

There are two basic ways to restore Acer 5315 PC Notebook to the original setting. The first method you can try to pressing the key Alt + F10 for 5 times while startup process appears on the Acer screen. Usually this way will restore the original setting automatically.
And the next method you may need to use system restore at the first time you’ve got your Acer 5315 laptop. Here are steps to follow:

Acer Restore

The recovery partition is corrupted. 1st option is, You can send your computer to acer repair center in germany. I believe acer have international warranty. 2nd option is to buy the recovery cd from acer, you can installed by yourself.
About downloadable OS, i don't think they have it online.
