SOURCE: pure evoke-2s dab radio stuck on getting time how do i fix it?

here is the manual; for your item

http://www.thiecom.de/ftp/pure/evoke2/user_guide_-_393kb_pdf.pdf

try performing the system reset and autotune as it may be picking up time only from a time server once it has a good connection to digital transmitters, hence if not good connection will not get time and remain in that state, check that your arial connection is good also

How do I correct a faulty volume on a pure evoke 2 DAB radio

Most likely the audio amplifier chip needs replacing.Other wise you could try spraying "CRC 2-26" into the volume control assembly.

Pure dab radio keeps cutting out

Hi,
My Pure Evoke 1S ran fine for years. Then two years ago it started cutting out every now and again, and, at other times, just failing to switch on, by constantly recycling between off and on. The higher the volume setting, the quicker it cut out.
I persevered with the radio because a) it was expensive at £90, b) the sound is very good quality, and c) I could not see a reason for the fault other than a component failure (and there was no obvious sign for that).
I then discovered the fix and it is quite simple. With the radio on, select the menu option "Energy Saving Settings" and set the option to "NO". The radio will works as normal, immediately.
Hope this works for you, too.

MY PURE 3 dab RADIO stopped working overnight - it was working perfectly saturday night but was completly dead sunday morning. It has a battery pack attached and i have also tried using another PURE mains...

I have purchased 2 Pure Radios (Mio &Evoke Flow) and have had the eact same problem you mention. It is definately a bug with the radio.

I have had the Mio replaced twice and the Evoke Flow once. 6 months later I had the same problem and took it back and got a credit. I would not trust this brand any longer...
