Yes treat the shaft and bearings of the fan motor and blade with some graphite to quiet it down and reduce the friction that's causing it to chirp / squeal.
Also if you have the set in a humid basement or in direct sunlight that's heating it reposition the set out of the direct sunlight as well as if in a humid area run a dehumidifier to prolong the life of your set.
