SOURCE: the water drains too fast and overflows

Any washer cannot drain too fast, the problem is in your drainage pipework, there is likely to be a partial blockage or restriction of some kind, it means rodding the pies, or taking it apart to clean it.

SOURCE: GE Water Cooler Reservoir overflows.

There should be no crack or pin hole in your water bottle.
Water bottle should be air-tight to make proper pressure inside bottle.
Whenever lose pressure, water overflow with no bubble.
Just replace water bottle with no crack or pin hole.
Good luck.

My nearly new Frigidare air cooler EC200WF runs for a while, and then stops cooling (the fan will still run)...any ideas?

Many newer units are considered “fully evaporative.” This means the water accumulated from dehumidifying is actually discharged out of the exhaust. But, many times the evaporation can not keep up with the cooling demand. The machine has to stop running for a bit to get rid of excess water so it doesn’t overflow. Try hooking up a permanent drain!!

Hi... I just bought Electrolux Dishwasher ESF2433W. When i first time turn it on, light at "Normal" button keep on flashing with beeping sound. After checking the trouble shooting manual, it actually refer...

E4 Overflow

Sometimes during trasport it is possible that styrofoam float mechanicaly activated overflow microswitch. So, you should check complitely overflow system.

At any time, if overflow micro-switch act and keep for longer than 2 seconds, the E4 would occur. When E4 occurs, the drain pump will run until flowmeter keep motionless for 2 minutes (if the model with the pressure switch (83/63),drain pump would run till the pressure switch reset and continue draining for 60 seconds.) and all the other components will be stopped immediately. At the same time, the buzzer will alarm for 30 seconds and error 4 will be shown. Note: Priority level of E4 is the highest. E4 operation is valid after other error operations have done. When E4 operation has done, all the others are invalid.

Have 2 evaps on roof shut main water feed valve off. There is some water in pan of one and dripping on my new roof. Wondering why there is water in pan? can you help

Yes, there should be a water/condensation pan under it with an overflow drain that takes the water down off the roof. Perhaps, whomever installed your new roof, removed the drain tubing and forgot to put it back.

Why does there have to be a 'bleeder' line from the drain pan of a Master Cooler? Shouldn't the float keep the optimum amount of water in the unit?

The previous answer is wrong. He describes an overflow line not a bleeder line. An overflow line is not optional for the reason previous answer describes except that if you go away for vacation or other reason the water to the cooler should be shut off.

On the other hand a bleeder line is optional but highly suggested.
The purpose of a bleeder line in any application like brake systems and evpaorative coolers is to get rid of some unwanted elements. In brake lines air is the unwanted element. In evaporative coolers it is particles, scale and mineral build up. This happens because the constant evaporation ( the whole principle of water coolers) leaves behind particles, scale and mineral. without a bleeder line these things build up in the water reservoir. You flush your system manualy with a bleeder line or with the right control box and a separate pump it can be done automatically. If you do it manually, let it run long enuff to discharge at least as much water as your reservoir holds. direct this flow to plants so a not to waste the water.

Elkay water cooler does not turn on

You need to first check the circuit breaker for that wall outlet, and see if you short circuited it from water going behind the wall. if that is the case you need to reset it at the circuit box and then run a bead of clear silicone on the back of the water cooler to prevent water from dripping down the back .

Water seeping out the bottom of my wine cooler

there should be a drain pan that you will periodically remove. Condensate (water) is a normal byproduct of all refrigeration devices. Also look for a drain fitting that you can run to a waste line.
