Question about IBM ThinkPad DVD_ROM Ultrabay (73p3270) Internal DVD Drive
Hi, Unfortunalty this is an hardware failure there is nothing you can do. If you are under warranty i suggest you to contact the reseller/manufacturer to get a replacement unit, it should be no problem at all this is a common issue on thinkpads, CD/DVD player, HDD and batteries, power adapter are the weakiest part of your system. Ususally you will receive the part directly from IBM with a explanation about how to swap it, does not requires any technical skill to replace this part ! Thanks and have a nice day J -
