Question about LG Shine KE970 Cellular Phone
How to download music onto the mobile?
I have done this 2 ways.
1. Use a MicroSD card and transfer the files directly over. I could not create a directory called "music" because the phone did not recognize that folder.
2. Hook up your phone to a USB cable and set the connection mode to music sync. Plug the phone into your computer and choose the option to Sync music files when the screen prompts you what to do.

On my LG Shine, you hook up your USB cable to your phone and your computer. Go to 'Tools and Apps' on your phone, and press 'Tools'. Then scroll down until you get to 'USB Mass Storage'. Click on it. You can keep you phone flipped up, and it should show a 'NO' signal. Then go to 'My Computer' and you should see a 'Removable Disk'. Click on it. Copy and paste your music to 'my_music'. And ta-da.

When you connect the phone to the pc and get the window with the option to select an action, choose the option to use windows explorer. Select the right drive letter for your phone, then select sounds. Mine comes up as 2 drives, so I select the ones with MP3 as an option in the sounds folder.
I then made a playlist (even in iTunes) and used drop and drag to put them in the MP3 file on the phone - as above.
When you use the phone to play the music, go to my stuff, sounds, and when you find the songs you want, hit the mp3 button on the side of the phone. Bingo! It also works from the earphone controller.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I had the same thing with my KF510 but I don't know if it will be the same with your phone. When you connect the phone via the USB cable you will see two removable drives in My Computer ( I have Windows XP) one is the phones internal memory the other is the memory stick.
Drag and drop the MP3 files onto the memory stick - BUT - make sure you drag the files onto a folder in the drive not just onto the drive icon as if they are not in a folder ( on mine the folder is called Sounds) the phone won't find them.
To see the folders on the drive icon just double click the icon or right click - explore.
Hope this helps you.
