IPod nano 8gb problem. Just hangs ........ ... (by 20 users)

My iPod has not been used for 6 months. I only checked to see if it was working and packed it away. Switched it on and it just hangs. Not sure where to from here

I bought an ipod nano 2nd gen. It hangs when syncing. restoring a few hundred times does not help.
Hangs every few songs.

My new iPod nano hangs when I tried to charge with the lock button on. It won't do anything. I think I need to leave it on till it runs out of power.

when i switch open the ipod it become hang and it moves no more ahead from the wait sign this happens after when i download alot of songs to it plz give me its solution i have black 8gp ipod

Just Hold the center button and the Menu button until the screen goes blank and the apple logo shows up

this is called a reset

my nano it's dead!!! I pressed the menu bottom with the circle at the same time and the screen went blank and that was it......  any ideas??
