sometimes the screen just glitches on any device that has touch screen if there is no reset pinhole on the device anywhere you may try to hold power and volume up until it restarts sometimes that can solve the problem I have to so this to my Galaxy S4 Active sometimes

Hi Jade. If you have a windows XP in your machine Try to upgrade to win7 or win 8 since windows xp doesn't come with touch screen drivers.
