None of the control panel lights are lit apart from the power light. However, If I press the timer button as I turn the machine on the display shows 29. If I press the P button as I turn the machine on the display shows 13. If I then close the dishwasher door the machine starts a wash cycle but does not complete it and does not drain or even attempt to drain the water. I should add that I recently changed the draining pump for a clone, as the original packed up and was filling the bottom of the machine with water resulting in E4 errors. The machine has worked since changing the pump. I'm not convinced that the control circuit board is faulty because if I lift the overflow float I still get an E4 error and the drain pump starts, suggesting that something at least is doing whet it's supposed to. Any help appreciated

Hi
You have a problem which will need some knowledge of how the machine works and some test meter. There may be a problem with the motor. It may not beworking, jammed or dead -burnt out.The motor does the work after the water-cold,hot or medium-has entered.
The timer-you say works- will connect power to the motor to do its job, power to solonoid for the valves to open at the right time to let water in and out-pushed out by the motor.Remove the water with a cup and rags from the machine and then see if the motor turns by hand. This may mean you have to get under the machine.ALL WAYS REMOVE THE POWER CORD AT THE WALL POWER OUTLET--Jay

The error message "Err" usually indicates that the wash program and option are not compatible. 40 degrees and 900 rpm Spin should be o.k.. I would try another wash program with no special options and see if the problem goes away.

It's probably the touchpad - commonly used buttons quit working after a while. If not, then it's the electronic control board.
