Hi... i am using nokia 5130....and i am having a problem with phone memory....as this phone has 30 mb and it shows 6mb only.. 3 mb free and 3 mb used and it is decreasing gradually
Hi, empty the phone memory by transfering the data stored in the recieved folder. This folder saves the data recieved thru bluetooth.
First connect you mobile to your pc thru usb cable and open nokia pc suite then go to my computer.In my computer you can see one drive and it's name is nokia 5130c.Open that and delete or copy all data in other drive.

connect your 5130xm to a computer that has windows 7 operater.
try this and the memory will be empty. I tried this and it worked.

use OXYCUBE
its a phone files browser.. which u cant browse n access from any software
install it
attach the phone via cable using pc suite option in the phone... with the PC
connect phone with OXYCUBE
then browse the phone
go to Hidden folders
go to Themesactive
here u can see all the themes u hav applied since u buyed
eventhough u formatted it but the themes neva go away from the cache
e-g i had almost 30 40 themes in that cache with were of almost 22 mb space
so delete all those themes
then see the difference
after that u can apply the themes on ur phone as before
regularly clean it using OXY CUBE
I bet this will solve 99% of the memory problems for nokia 5130

Hi, i dont think any mobile shows the total memory, usually they give u
the available memory for usage. In that case, by default SMS and
contacts are stored in internal memory(which is of 30mb). In your case,
i guess you have used almost 90% of your phone memory, hence only 5mb
is left with.
Please, select the appropriate option to store mostly in SSD memory card, instead of phone memory.

i m having the same memory problem and this is because of its themes when ever u put a new theme it takes memory every time and now i have only 5 mb total memory free and i have stored nothing in fone memory so plz tell me what is this problem...
Cant format. But 1. Google oxicube for p.c & install .u can use d trial version. 2.connect phone to computer by u.s.b or bluetooth. 3. Open drive C:/ . The phones hard drive (not your external memory card.) 4. Browse through the folders 4 any unwanted file u know u put the eg. Themes, applications. 5. Back up 1st. & delete them from the phone. 6. Check ur phone's memory.
