yes
it is done all of the time
you will need the bsb of the bank
the account number you are transferring money to
the account name
so for example :-
you want to send money to a friend in another state
their bank is anz or what ever you enter bsb of that bank (can be obtained by googling that branch bank)
branch bsb 011-123
then you put in friends account number --0123456
then their name --santa
then the amount $100.00
then your password for your account and send
done
if unsure go to your bank and they will set up the system for you and explain how it is done
BSB stands for Bank, State, Branch and is a code/number used to identify banks.. your bank should have one - check it's website or your bank statement. This is required along with account number etc to allow payments to paypal to go to your bank account.
Bank account transactions are considered sensitive and very confidential. The Fixya team understand how frustrating your situation can be but the best resource (and solution) is to contact BPI directly through their hotline : 89-100 (Philippines).
BPI will validate your profile/account through their phone screening and would ask your some personal questions to clarify your ID. From there, you can inquire about the branch name, as well as "BSB" and other related technical terms that they use.
