Question about LG RZ-20LA70 20 in. LCD Television
I have a 42 inch LG TV that powers on but there is no picture and no sound, can you help me?
If it is hot were you live , That model of t.v doesn't like heat, anything about 35 degrees celsius could cause a problem with the card components.

Most likely what happened is one of the capacitors went bad. When a capacitors goes bad it produces a popping sound. This could be an easy and cheap fix if you find the bad capacitor or capacitors. The bad capacitor will have a bulging top most likely on the power board but could be anywhere.
