Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
Hi my hp laptop froze yesterday so i held the power button until it turned off. I tried turning it back on but it keeps shutting off when starting and nothing shows up on the screen. I tried taking the battery out and holding the power button for 30-60 mins but it didn't work, what should I do now?
If it has a CD/DVD drive, and you have a 'startup disk' or similar utility disk that may have come with the system, you can put the CD in the drive, and see if it will boot from there. Normally holding down the 'F12' key will give you the menu to choose which device to boot from.
If you're not comfortable trying that type of thing, it's probably best to take it to a repair center.
Good luck, and post any updates,
