Did you check if the video card specs is can be able to use in Motherboard Specs. If your video card is not supported when power is ON mb give you beep sound.

Pc will not boot need to know the beep codes, to solve problem

all that typing and you still didn't list your motherboard make and model ?? different motherboards have different BIOS's and their respective beep codes are different for each

try looking in the BIOS and checking the video section for a PCI-e setting. sometimes it has to be set to look for a PCI-e card first, especially when the motherboard has on-board video.

Screen went blank, have yellow indicator on monitor, try to reboot, getting three beeps, nothing more.

One beep during startup is "good", but THREE is not good.

Three beeps means a hardware fault -- probably that the video-adapter on your computer has failed.

Connect the monitor to another desktop/laptop, to confirm that it still works.

Turn the computer off, and disconnect the power-cord.
Remove all the RAM, and then re-insert just one stick.
Reconnect the power, and try to boot.
If you still get THREE beeps, turn it off.
Disconnect the power-cord, and reinsert the remaining RAM sticks.

If you still have the problem, then it's time to replace the video-card on your computer. Take the computer to a computer-store, so that they can sell you a video-card that will be compatible with your motherboard.
Hopefully, if you buy the video-card from them, they will install it for a modest fee -- ask them.

Ive got a long continual beep and it emits orange light from the front and back of the computer how am i to fix it?

Turn the computer off.
Unplug the power cable.
Remove the video card.
Remove the RAM.
Re-insert the video-card, ensuring that it is "seated" properly.
Do NOT re-install the RAM, just yet.
Connect the power cable.
Turn the computer on.
If you get a different "beep", the lack of RAM is the problem.
If you get the same "beep", the video-card is the problem.
Turn the computer off.
Disconnect the power-cable.
Re-install one stick of RAM (two if it is RAMBUS/RDRAM).
Reconnect the power-cable.
Turn the computer on.
If it beeps "normally", then the not-yet-installed RAM is the problem.
If it still "long-beeps", turn the computer off, disconnect the power-cable, and remove the RAM, and insert the "other" stick/pair of RAM.
Reconnect and start it up.

If still a problem, change the video-card.

When turning the power on get a beep a pause a beep

If your monitor plugs directly into the motherboard, then you need to purchase a video card and install it in your system. The computer will bypass the built in video and use the video card. If your monitor plugs into a separate video card already installed in your system, then that card needs to be replaced. That is what the beep code means when you turn it on -- the computer can't find the video. Oh, and please take a moment to give this solution a fixya rating. Thanks! :c)
