Question about Nokia e65 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

E65 phone dead.

Tried software update because i thought my "insert sim card" problem was due to the software.. however after i completed my software update the phone failed to turn back on..

however the past few times i attempted to connect up my phone to the computer it did recognise that SOMETHING was there.. just not my phone..

im currently out of warranty and i dont intend on spending any money to get it fixed!! HELP???

Your phone is done with. I also did the same to my E61i in Mar this year. Same results. Fortunately it was still under warranty. So I got a E63 in lieu. New one. There are very many cases like yours where in the greed to have the latest firmware, they go on the net and loose a lovely phone. I have been telling everyone not to do that and go to Nokia Care instead. They do it on their computers with the most stable firmware. Sorry to hear your story, but I hope you have learnt a lesson. Take it to Nokia Care once . You never know, they might infuse some life in it. Unless they say dead dont take it as dead.

I had the same problem with Nokia E66. Just a problem of SIM card contact points. Slide a piece of paper on top of your SIM card and put SIM-card paper back in the slot. The contact points work again. R.

No sim card inserted?

no sim card error is not virtual error from service providers, its due to your phone hardware problem. if your sim was not working due to service provider it will show your card registration failed. but you are getting sim card not inserted means your sim card contacts are not touching the phone sim contacts. try to refix your sim card properly. then try to reboot your phone.

Nokia e65 will not accept any sim card after i unlocked the phone

I would try the unlock again, it sounds like the unlock was unsuccessful otherwise it would have allowed you to use the other sim cards.

Phone is coming up with SIM card registration failed

Please try to turn off the Mobile phone , take out the SIM card, wait for 15 seconds to insert it back and try again to turn on.....

If that doesn't help. Try different SIM in phone if available, and also try SIM in different handset.....

Most probably SIM card has gone bad and needs to be replaced from Phone operator

Nokia e65 stuck in offline mode.

step 1>switch off your phone and turn it on again
step2>you should get a respond <: continue in offline mode>: select no
finally, i believe that everything should be ok.
if it doesn't there is alternative 2???/////

ALTERNATIVE TWO: this is useful for those who got INSERT SIM CARD RESPONSE.

WHY INSERT SIM CARD PROBLEM ?
my phone is 1yr and 6 months now and i discovered that as you remove and replace your Sim card numerous times, there is a big possibility that Sim card port will get expanded.

SOLUTION is very simple:.>>:1. buy a black solo tape
2. place it at the outer part of the sim card and use blade to cut exactly the same shape as the sim card.
3. finally stick the tape.

WARNING>>?do not stick the tape on where you have the Sim card service sensors.make use of your brain.
