Question about Kenmore Elite HE4 Electric Dryer
I did an online Chat with Sears today. (no answers) I have a Kenmore Elite Calypso TOP LOADING washer. (This was "the thing to have - just before all these front loading machines appeared")
The machine has a self evening load exercise. The floor is level, it sits in a galvanized pan provided by the home builder and has never been a problem except that the clothes never did seem to be clean as before.
The Problem now (please don't laugh - I am serious) is that my clothes seem to be disappearing! Last week after returning from a weeks travel, I put in at least 9 to 12 handkerchiefs. When I brought out the finished load from the dryer - 4 handkerchiefs.
Today, I washed my best set of sheets and pillow cases. Only one of the two pillow cases reappeared.
Does anyone have any insight to this?
Honestly, on that machine, I don't have a clue where your clothes could go. It couldn't get under the aggitator plate unless it was so loose it was about to fly out. It doesn't do a flood rinse to send them over the top. And the pump in those units would stop up on anything. So they are not going down the drain. Besides the check balls would stop them.
