i have panansonic MD NV 10000 & use cable's fire wire USB2,0 1EEE 1394 & my pc cannot capture this video, what happen?

i do not understand,do you connect all these cables at the same time?If yes is wrong ...Just connect in a well known pc the fire wire cable and power on camcorder.If pc doesn't capture video,THEN look after editing program...
