This is a three part solution to remove messenger.

Step 1

If you know how to search files and folders even hidden, then search for the word MSN. Remove all entries unless they area to where it is located is service.

Step 2

type msconfig in the command box and go to startup. Uncheck it so it won't load.

Step 3

Go to your service under computer management and disable it.

If you are unsure of the files to delete this way, just post a reply and I'll give you a hand

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How to uninstall windows messenger in windows 7

It can be done through the Control Panel and the Add/Remove Programs function. You will NOT, however, see "Windows Live Messenger" on the programs list. What you will see is an item called "Windows Live Essentials".

Click on the Change/Remove button for Windows Live Essentials, then select Uninstall, and then in the next window check "Messenger." Then continue with the uninstall process.

Hope that's helpful.

Cam won't work on windows 7

That particular Cam is for Win 98SE, 2000, ME or XP so won't work on Win 7. The Logitech Pro 9000 will work with Win 7 and is HD quality and excellent audio (Amazon has great deals on them). Google Logitech Vid if you get one then send an invite to connect to your contacts. They too will have to download the Logitech Vid software for 'Live' calling, and the Cam will work in MSN Messenger.

I had msn messenger. I did an up grade and when it was done it threw me back to the very old msn messenger. I removed the msn messenger from hard drive and out of regedit. But I can not down load msn...

I think there maybe is something you are missing in your description. The hard drive itself has no bearing on a download. Particularly if it is your main drive. Did you do a manual uninstall, used the uninstall feature from the old MSN program or, did you use windows un-installer?. First, i would try restore to a date prior to your un-installation. After that, I would first try to un-installed again using teh Windows "Add /Remove programs" in Windows control panel. This is based on you having either vista or XP. You can use any of may freeware utilities to clean your register (not reg edit) but, if you are not very saavy in computers, I would let the registry as is. Then, download the msn upgrade and, install it from your computer (not from the web download window). If this does not help, oplease post again with more details on your system.

How to remove msn

I take it that you don't wish to use MSN for internet access. You can delete it from your network connections window.
Then you will have to set up a connection that will use either dial-up or some form of high-speed connection. That will become your default connection.

To unistall, go into control panel, then "add and remove programs", then click "add/remove windows components". From here you can view programs like msn, and all other accessories. Untick the msn live box, and click next.
