Question about Audio Players & Recorders
I have the same problem my friend un hooked it and plugged it back in it worked for three months till my wife wanted it down stairs after i moved it it went back into locked protect mode so im about to solve my problem for good buy itroducing my sony str-k790 to the trash can

Hello, the problem could be caused by overheating, check that there is adequate ventillation to the unit and that it isn't getting too hot. Another cause of this could be that something is shorting out, check to see if any of the wires to the speakers are crossing over at any point. Also if the amplifier is not powerfull enough for the speakers or does not have the right ohm rating then this could cause these symptoms. Hope this helps.
