Question about Refrigerators
I have a Kenmore fridge which started creating a buzzing noise/sound. This sound stopped after a while but started of again. Later during the day, I noticed a glow (may be sparks) emanating from underneath the fridge so I decided to unplug the power before anything disastrous would happen. Now I seem to get a very unpleasant smell coming from the fridge. A smell like as if something is burnt or fried. It is more evident when I tried to smell the rear of the fridge (around the compressor). Please help soon.
The compressor is asealed unit and wont cause any smell but it does have a push on starter on the compressor pins under the cover (most likely cause)
Possible other faults are defrost element or defrost timer
