Question about HP Advanced Port Replicator 1.2
I think the prob might be bcuz its overheated...i usually overuse it like i dunno 10 hours straight....but sometimes it just shuts down even when ive just use like an hour or two...
The overheating problem will cause the CPU to shutdown and it won't boot up again until it has cooled dowm.
The problem could be a faulty fan that has stopped spinning and or the fan and heatsink assembly is clogged with dust.
To fix the problem, remove and vacuum the dust from the fan and heatsink assembly, check the fan and if it does not spin freely, replace the fan.
