Question about Televison & Video
I connected my computer to my lcd tv and it worked fine until one day i turnedthe tv on and the display was too big for the tv. i could not see the start button at all and my top icons was half way off the screen as well. i reset the computer settings and it didnt work i hook the computer to a reg monitor and it was fine. i hooked another computer to the tv and it did the same thing. can anyone help me?
You need to turn off OVERSCAN in your computer display controls. This will reduce the picture size by 5 to 10% and allow access to the edges. Expect there may be an edge around the screen with nothing in it. Overscan was introduce in TVs to use the whole tube. It is not needed in digital displays. -Ken
