Knight, as i have understood when you reinstall windows XP, it can't load photo express. This is probably because you had installed Photo express in your the same drive you had installed your windows. When you reinstall windows that drive is completely formatted and thats why it can't load the software.

Make sure you install photo express in some other drive. You can also rip the setup on a dvd so that you could reinstall it when your window crashes. For window crash, you might like to use an antivirus software like Avast.

I hope that must solve your problem. You might also like to read Photo express manual for specific instructions if it doesnt work.

My outlook and programs seem to freeze as soon as they are opened, or they are extremely slow.I have Windows XP and use a lot of Adobe products such as Photoshop and Illustrator as well as InDesign.

Delete all temp files (c:\windows\temp\*.tmp, or on XP C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temp)
Delete temporary internet files (c:\windows\temporary internet files\*.*, or on XP C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files) If you use I.E., click on Tools, Internet Options, Delete Files, select "delete all off-line content", click OK
Click on Start, Programs, Accessories, Systems Tools, Disk Cleanup
turn off programs that start automatically in msconfig, then turn them on one at a time after a reboot. Run you system awhile to test. with some patience you will discover what causes your problem.

I have a problem of loading in MS Express Web Design. Most of the time the program would crash everytime I open a file. Note that I use Window Vista.

Try to re-install your MS Expression Web and make sure that your hardware meets your software requirements for MS Expression Web. It is the major factor why this program crashes while loading or opening it.

MY HP pavilion zt 1000 series just crashed

When reinstalling XP, install in a directory other than WINDOWS. Your My Documents will be safe, unless you have already overwritten it. Other data should be safe.DO NOT FORMAT THE DISK as the installation suggests.

I just purchased a Sakar digital photo frame keychain. I downloaded 22 photos from my Documents displayed on Active Images Express but from there is where I'm having trouble getting the photos to the...

I feel your pain. Go to their web site and download a readable manual http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.sakar.com/images/resources/thumbs/12690%2520black.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.sakar.com/p-169.aspx%3Fcategoryid%3D155&usg=__UCOoniXB9VJe9zn80S4X1J8mj7o=&h=120&w=104&sz=9&hl=en&start=8&um=1&tbnid=5j97XYF3RmFbdM:&tbnh=88&tbnw=76&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dsakar%2Bdigital%2Bphoto%2Bframe%2B12490%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26rlz%3D1T4GGLL_enUS305US305

The key is to hit the send photos button in the upper left hand corner of the main page. that will open up the photo viewer. Once there the instrutions actually make sense. going to select Photos and opening active image express will not down load the pictures, you have to get to the photo viewer v2.3. the manual is correct you just have to read if very carfully.

Good luck

Ulead Photo Express has stopped working

So, the problem: Ulead Photo Express suddenly stops working, uninstalling and reinstalling makes no difference; and yet it still shows up as running in the task manager (probably as IPE.40 or something similar).

After 2 months I FINALLY found a solution and thought I'd come back here to share it, in case it helps anyone else. ;)

(Btw, this may be specific to Photo Express version 4.0, but could still be worth trying for 6.0 or Photo Explosion as well).

According to this page on the Corel forum:
http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic.php?t=14912 There seems to be a conflict between Photo Express and 'K-Lite Codex pack'. If you've recently installed it, or any other image/media viewer on your system try uninstalling, restart, and then seeing if Photo Express works.

Or if your computer has just come back from the shop after a reinstallation, and photo express won't work on it anymore, check to see if the tech guys there 'helpfully' installed anything on your system that might cause the clash - that's what happened to me. I found the k-lite codec thing, uninstalled it, Photo Express worked just fine at last.

Hope that helped a bit!
