Hey Dale, a melting fuse is a serious problem..For a fuse to melt, there is a LOT of current, ABOVE what that particular system is designed to carry.. in an ideal situation, ; the fuse would have blown and not melted..(did you put in a higher rated fuse to try and over ride the issue???)..ooppsss...
Dale, you have an issue that need a QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL to repair...

I have a 2000 sportage kia my headlights work sometimes. I have changed the fuse, but it looks like it got too hot and melted. But it doesn't blow the fuse but I don't know if I'm gonna have headlights or...

If the connection (any connection) gets hot enough to melt,it may be dirty.Remove the fuse and spray contact clean on the connections and replace with a new fuse.
It may be a bad connection at the fuse that is affecting the headlights. This would be the first place to start.

What does the safety fuse in a 2008 Kia Rondo do

Keeps you cool when the juice has been shorted. That too is a funny, but quite accurate. A fuse is a piece of wired that is designed to melt when it gets above a certain temperature. At a given voltage (12 in the case of your Kia), various amounts of current (Amperes) generate differing amounts of heat. The fuses are thus rated in Amps - which is their current limit. When you go above that, because of something like a short, or trying to draw more current than the wiring can handle, instead of having the wires melt or a fire start, the fuse melts or "blows" instead. That's a good thing.

There is a fuse that needs changed but seems that when the old one blew it melted now i can not get it out what should i do

Use a set of needle nose pliers to clamp on the fuse and pull it out. If you melted a fuse (plastic body) you may have bigger issues. Most fuses do not blow in such an energetic manner.

My 2004 kia rio blew a fuse for the radio and I cannot figure out which one. I replaced the one for radio under the dash on the inside but is their another fuse. It also controls the enterior lights....

Some of the other fuses are connected to the function of the radio. I have had this problem before. Cant remember which on, but as easy as it is to pull one out at a time to check them, You could just do that.

there is a short circuit in the brake light wiring it could be in the lamp holders them selfs pull off the wires to the brake lights holders on all the lamps and see if it still blows a fuse if it dose then the short is in the loom not the lights them self's if it dont blow a fuse hook up one light at a time untill it starts to blow fuses again the last light to be hooked up that blows the fuse is the faulty light

How do you check fuses on 2004 kia sorento?

The only way to check fuses on any vehicle is with a 12 volt test light or a meter. A fuse is designed to pass voltage through it, and will break or "melt" when it has too much resistance on it. Sometimes you can see a burnt fuse with the eye, but you can check fuses with a meter without taking any out.
