Hi,

Try to Connect with other USB Port. In Control Panel, Use Add New Hardware Tool.
Could you tell me the Exact model of this camera please?

1. check the device manager see if the webcam drivers is detected
2. If it's not detected try uninstalling the software for your webcam
3. download the web cam drivers from the manufacturer's website or if have the disk install it
4. install the webcam software

I gave mine to a friend to use on Skype but it says the webcam cant be detected.

Have your friend go to the Be-Bratz web cam instructions web page, and follow the directions to download and install the drivers and set up the camera.
Here are the directions from the web site:

Installing Driver Software

  1. Click the Download Webcam Software button and save the file to your computer.
  2. Double click on the file PC_Camera_1043W_070328.exe to start the installation.
  3. Follow the steps in the installation wizard.
  4. Once the software is installed you should be able to use your Webcam.

Note: If the camera does not work or the PC cannot detect it, please refer to the troubleshooting section in your Be-Bratz.com™ Webcam manual.
Here is the link to the software: Download the webcam software

I have a Agfa SnapScan 1212u, but I can't find a driver to it. I have the system Windows 7

Although Agfa no longer supports their scanners with drivers and software updates, some Vista and Windows 7 users say they are still able to install the XP software and get it to run. In another thread, broccauley said: 'I got my Agfa Snapscan 1212U scanner to work fine with Windows 7. All I did was to install the XP Agfa Scanwise 2.0.0.9 software FIRST (available from Agfa website). Then I went to Devices and Printers, right-clicked on the 1212U and chose "Troubleshoot" - Windows then found and installed the driver automatically.'
Good luck!

Are there drivers for the agfa snapscan 1212u in windows 7 platform?

As far as I can tell, the driver has not been updated for either VIsta or Windows 7. If you have Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate, you have a workaround option. Install the XP mode and then install the scanner to that virtual PC.

I hope this helps.

Driver

If you are talking about the Agfa ePhoto CL18 Digital Camera, then you'll need drivers for the digital camera, not webcam drivers, but in a way, I use mine as a webcam sometimes, but using the drivers will only work for WIN95/98/98ME/98SE/WIN-XP etc. and the drivers won't work for WIN-Vista as Agfa discontinued supporting digital cameras and flatbed scanners, so I actually made Recovery disks for my WIN-Vista, so I could put that back unto this computer, which came with WIN-Vista, and used my WIN-XP disks and installed WIN-XP unto the computer just so I could use the WIN-XP driver. When installing the driver there's an error message telling me that it can't update DCOM, or DCOM95, or it can't update DCOM to WIN98, or some sort of error message, but I just rebooted the computer and the install completed. Sometimes however, the computer "loses track" of the driver or something because sometimes, when I start the Corel Photo House software, which came with the camera, there's a message telling me that it can't find the camera and that I should make sure that the camera is connected and turned on for example, but I found that if I go into the "add hardware" section again, then try the automatic install again, but instead of letting "it" find the driver, I tell the installer to choose how or where to look, the driver that was installed will show up on a list, then after I click on that choice, then it installs correctly...In other words, the driver installs correctly after installing it the first time, with the CD, then installing it a second time using the computer's "list" of drivers, if you know what I mean by that...It's where you click on where you choose what hardware you want to install and get the list of available drivers, if you know where I'm talking about?
Good luck in getting it going.
