The brand of Rockwood, I'm sorry to say, is not good. They get the name by robbing "Rock" from Rockford Fosgate, and "wood" from Kenwood, to be misleading. If you have big plans for your stereo, i would not recommend using them. Having said all that, they might do the trick and last for years if you are not the type to abuse them. I have a Road Gear amplifier I bought from WalMart 10 years ago that I refused to toss out and now have it in my work truck. Again, the brand may not be good but sometimes specific items are. Good Luck.

Hello... sorry to hear you are having problems. Though there is no actual way to diagnose a problem 100% without seeing it in person and checking everything... it sounds to me like one of 2 problems. First, make sure you have a good ground connection. Do not use factory body bolts, seat bolts, trunk lid bolts, etc. Put a ring terminal on the ground wire and connect it solidly with self-tapping screws directly to a CLEAN unpainted bare metal part of the car. Use a wire brush to throroughly clean the grounding point. You also need the same size grounding cable at the battery between the negative post of the battery and the body of the vehicle (body ground). If you require a 0ga connection for ground and you connect to the body, but you only have an 8ga body ground at the battery, that will not suffice. The second thing I would check would be the RCA cables. It sounds like you may have screwed through the RCA cable or pinched them. These are to good candidates for the problem you are describing. Hope this helped. If you need further assistance, just add a comment and I will reply back. Good luck with your venture!
solution is take radio out and find some to service radio and see what is wrong with radio tell them the problems that your having and then let them tell you if the radio is bad .... if it is and worth fixing then fix it or go out buy a new radio .....
Well the voice coil is a basic electromagnet. Electromagnet is a coil of wire, usually wrapped around a piece of magnetic metal, such as iron. there are many things need to keep in mind while replacing the voice coil like - wire size, length, type...... usually the speakers not works good after replacing the voice coils and replacing the speakers is the better option regarding money..... anyway you can please tell us the type or model of your speakers if you need more help or information........
u may be able to custom fir the 6x9 into the rear of the vehicle, if you don't want to do that, you may be able to fit them into the spots in the doors, but that still may be a custom job. u could always go with boxes, individual boxes that you could put on the floor on maybe on the back deck where usually the 6x9s would be located. if you dont like that idea, you might try a body shop or electronics retailer because there is definitely a way to fit those speakers in the doors or on the rear deck, it just won't be an easy job for a beginner, you have to cut holes
