Question about Apple iPod touch

1 Answer

Hello ? I have a bubble in my IPod touch's screen. Do you have an idea where this could come from and how to make it go away ? I don't have any screen protector on it and all the original protectors are gone too. To give you an idea of what it is, the bubble is a little bit reddish and it's situated on the black part of the screen. But the IPod is quite new and I don't want this bubble problem to spread...

Replace screen on Ipod touch

You can buy kits for this on ebay, or seveal other websites that specialize in apple parts. Installing the screen is easy and there are utube videos that will show you how to do it yourself. They come with a tool for opening the ipod and changing out the screen. Also google replacement screen for "your model" and you will get hundreds of sights that sell the parts. If you don't think you can do it, "you can", then apple is your only alternative, or the store you purchased from may have a repair service

Hello there,

Your ipod must have been frozen. While the ipod is turned on, press the "Home" and "Sleep/Wake" buttons together for 5 seconds until the Apple logo appears.
  • Step 3 Power on the iPod Touch.

My Ipod touch Safari application has the bookmarks screen in front to the browser page, so I can't load new pages. the touch screen is unresponsive except for the 'new page' and 'back and 'forward'...

I would reset the ipod touch by pressing and holding the sleep/wake button and the home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds until the apple logo appears. Hope this helps.

Wont play through my bose system anymore

the apple ipod are very delicate and it seems that docks are very harsh on the internal workings IE: motherboard of the ipod. it not just the touch, it's all ipods.
My suggestion is to check the headphone jack and if you get sound, don;t play your ipod on the dock at all. Your dock has probably done some damage to the audio circuit on the board.
If you get sound through the headphone jack save your ipods life and just use it through the jack.
I have replaced numerous motherboards on ipods played on docks. they just don;t handle the charging and playing very well whether it's heat or just the wrong voltage I am not sure.
But my first question to a customer is have you played it on a dock.
I would stay away from the dock
