Black foam blowing out of an Emerson quiet kool thru the wall air conditioner- the front filter is intact, any ideas where foam is coming from?

depends on the unit. you will probably have to slide it out of its case and clean the outside part . there should be a hose that goes from the inside to the outside for the water to go out. this hose may be clogged, trapping the water inside. as i always say a picture of the unit always helps so i can identify it and tell you what to do to try and fix the problem. email the pics to [email protected]

It should have a drain so that it runs down off the roof instead of into the motorhome. All a/c's have a drain somewhere and they all plug up occasionally. A/C techs always carry coat hangers.
