I just replaced the power supply on my LG 50PA6500 Plasma TV, but it still won't power on.

If you have a voltmeter i would check all the voltages at the power supply board, the board you got to replace it could have issues to. ShopJimmy is a good company i have done a lot of business with, but the boards they sell were salvaged from used TV's also, so theres no guarantee that the board you got was perfectly functional either. I have had a few intermittent/bad boards from them that they replaced after contacting customer service. If the voltages look good, and swapping the board again does nothing, then its probably a mainboard failure. Sometimes when the caps go bad it fries other stuff after it.

I have a 50 inch Emerson tv model number LF501EM4F had a severe storm came through and now the TV does not work. I believe it's due to a lightning strike. Can it be repaired

If your LCD TV or monitor has stopped working, or is displaying one of the following symptoms, then it's a candidate for some new capacitors
- Flickering screen
- Screen image disappears after several seconds
- Dim screen
- Slow start
- Power LED on, but no picture
- Unusual colors and/or lines
The primary cause of LCD TV and monitor failure is caused by faulty capacitors. You can examine the capacitors in your LCD TV or monitor and actually see if they are bad.
If they appear bulged on top, then they need to be replaced.
New capacitors will solve a host of problems in LCD monitors and TV's and will extend the life of your monitor or TV by several years.
Check the cables, connectors and connections.
Take it to a repair shop.

LG TV 50PA6500. While watching TV it went blank and lost sound. Tried turning off and on with the only results being a clicking sound inside sounding like a circuit breaker.

It's too hot. It may be the transformer or simply dust on the circuit boards. Try using a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment sucking at the vents in back several times each direction. Blowing cool air into the vents as a last resort before calling in an expert would be wise, just make sure your vacuum is pulling from another vent.

LG 50PA6500. Lost picture and sound while watching it. Tried turning off and on with no results. While in on position I can hear it clicking on and off like a circuit breaker.

Fault with main board. Damaged component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ . In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

37 inch LG LCD won't turn on due to power failure

Power failures can cause all types of problems, have you firstly checked the fuse in the mains plug? If that is ok then it may have blown an internal fuse in the power supply board, these are there to protect the rest of the circuit from power surges.
