Pressure falls to under 80psi before restart

I have a rand 4000
My power nailer requires minim of 90psi to run properly and the compressor allows the pressure to fall below 80psi before it restarts.

Evolv 2 brad nailer no power

If you can check nailer on another compressor. If it works check your compressor, if not the nail gun is in need of repairs. Otherwise, reading the two guages on the compressor, check that the pressure in the tank is around 100psi and the regulated pressure is between 85 and 90psi. If not, regulated pressure is adjusted by the knob on the front of the housing. With a blowgun on the end of hose, connect the other end to the compressor. If you don't get any air the regulator may be broken and not letting air through. If you have air at the blowgun the problem may be with the nailer.

DRIVER DOES NOT RETURN ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP

What air pressure are you using? Anything under 80psi may not be enough to allow the piston to fully return. 90-110psi is the most common range to operate nailers and staplers. A bent driver can also be hanging up causing it not to return. This is most common on 18 (and some 16) gauge brad/finish nailers since they usually have a pretty thin driver blade.

are you talking about the little regulator gauge droping while you use it, as it does.its all to do with how much psi can pass through the airline at once. ther for since air is leaving the regulator it drops but when u stop using it it should shoot up straight away, if it doesnt means your regulator needs ajusted.

When the air compresor turns on the first time it runs good when we torn it off and try to restar it, it will not turn on

the switch on most air compressors have a low start and stop rating most run at 90psi low and 120 to 130psi off depending on your unit. if you turn on your unit and if it humens, than check the pressure valve mounted on the tank at the end of your feed line. if no humming check your switch

No air to hose on air compressor

Check to make sure that the regulator is set to the proper setting. You need to turn the knob clockwise to increase pressure. This is opposite of a valve which you turn counterclockwise to open.

Post a comment so we know how you did.

Thanks,

Tim
