Hi, there is a circulation motor that has an impeller attached to it. this is called the wash motor. it is located under the sump area. this wash impeller has become damaged and, you will need to replace it asap. this is causing the grinding noise. the impeller may be stripped or, it has slipped off the shaft. replacing this damaged impeller will fix this issue.
