Question about Intex Krystal Clear Model 635 Pool Filter Pump 1500 Gph
I have two Intex pool pumps and both have a blown motor. Looks like water settled in the motor and the magnet got rusted and broke. I would like to replace just the motor or just the magnet attachement if possible. Seems silly to keep buying new pumps every year for the same probelm.
First off water should not be getting to the armature area. be carefull with how you are taking care of your pump.
secondly a 1500 gallon pump is very weak I would advise at least 2500 or even the intex 4000
the most important part of pool maintenance is circulation.
if you have time check into electric motor rebuilding in your area
but sometimes that is more expensive than buying new
also if you have a valid receipt and the pump is less than 90 days old call intex and they will send out a new one within 24 hours
