Question about Insignia NS-DA2G MP3 Player
I wanted to erase all my songs so i did a system erase. It asked if i wanted to erase all and i said yes. Now my Insignia won't turn on or even charge. please help.
------------------------ I have the same problem , but I didn't try to erase anything. I couldn't turn it on. When I connect the device to the PC, it will recognize it, but won't charge battery, or will allow me to use any featuer, neither it reads information on MP3.
First check the battery to make sure it's in correctly. Remove the back panel to do this and look for the contacts. Make sure they align correctly with the contacts on the battery.
Try depressing the reset button which is next to the HOLD switch for about 5-10 seconds.
Attempt to power up the device on its own. If it powers up then try clearing all data and resetting to default.
Connect the device to a PC and see if it connects. Perform a full formatting to FAT-32 (or FAT-16). Eject and disconnect the device after the formatting is completed. Atempt to power on the unit on its own.
If all works you can try to load one song and see if it'll play. If yes, then use as normal.
