What is cylinder compression for troybilt weedeater TB 20 cs

Anything under 100 psi after 5 good pulls would suggest it has internal damage or wear.

Troybilt weedeater will not take gas

It could be as simple as a carb adjustment, fuel lines or you may have to rebuild the carb.

The string on my Troybilt tb70ss just keeps coming out of the spool when I try to weedeat. I am pretty sure I have followed the directions. What is the problem?

there should be a small hole to put string in on center of spool.
you might be winding the line the wrong way around try winding line in other direction.

I have a Troybilt weedeater that works great until I put the tiller attachment on. With the tiller on, it dies after a few minutes of use. Any ideas?

Hello dane. Change the fuel filter, install a new spark plug and a new air filter. Then get a can of carburator cleaner to add to your fuel. let that treated fuel run for 5 minutes and you should have your problem solved. If not, you will have to replace the carburator or rebuild it.

Weedeater starsts and ildes won't run or accelerate

Make sure your gas supply is fresh...not from last year...
Secondly, clean and service the air filter element... you may need to reoil it before installation...check your manual.
Disconnect the fuel line and drain it and what little is in the carb...push on the prime bulb if it's got one...
Then with a clean air filter and fresh gas... give it a start and after start, disengage the choke..
Let me know how you do..

Gas weedeater wont start

assuming weedeater brand weed eater, the carb. has a filter screen, that blocks and does not allow the pump to push sufficient fuel. A phillips head screw on the side of the carburettor secures a square plate, remove the screw and plate and gently brush the screen clean, dirt collects on the visible side.
Dirty foam filters if fitted change the fuel mixture and make it too rich to run.
and the fuel mixture knob, although secured by a tension spring, moves and may need to be readjusted
