Question about Refrigerators
I too have the same problem. We have an 2009 Keystone Everest 5th Wheel which we keep at a campgound when we are not traveling.
The refrigerator on from April though Oct., except while traveling
The freezer seems to stay cold but the refrigerator's temperature ranges at times from 52 to 37 dregrees. This has happened on two occassions. When we go down the next weekend might be ok and it might not
I have tried everything I know what to do. What is strange is that this is not constant problem.

Ok, I realize I'm a little late on chiming in here, is this unit located in a slideout, and/or the top outside vent is in the wall not a roof located vent?
If so then the issue is that there are fans that are necessary to circulate air thru the hot coils. And there is probably a malfuntioning thermostat to turn these fans on/off. I had this issue with same fridge in a Gulfstream motorhome, and the temporary fix was to pull the faston connectors off the thermostat and tied them together with a 12V fuse, and taped it up with electrical tape to keep it from shorting on fridge chassis and parts. Replace the thermostat at your conveniance, as these fans are now running whenever fridge is on, and will run your batteries down if not plugged into shore power.

SOURCE: not cooling as normal 2008
It sounds like a problem with the defrost system that had gone worse in time.
If defrost fan was not working then the fan should have been tested by energizing fan motor. If fan was working, then test the defrost thermostat that start the fan. If fan motor was blown , you should have replaced the fan with original replacement, not with an external fan.
The situation surely put under stress the compressor motor. Probably now the compressor is gone too.
Try defrosting completely the fridge, by leaving it disconnected for two days. If when you restart the fridge, you find that it is cooling again, then it is still defrost system. In this case the fridge will stop cooling after a couple of days or weeks. If it still does not cool at all, check the compressor.
