I have a Panasonic phone..when I press the flash/call waiting button I get the second call but when I press it again to get the first call I lose the call

It sounds like you are experiencing a problem with your call waiting feature. When you press the call waiting button, you are able to switch between the two calls. If you press the call waiting button again to return to the original caller and the call is disconnected, there could be a problem with the call waiting feature on your phone.
There are a few things you can try to fix this problem:
  1. Check with your phone service provider to see if there are any known issues with the call waiting feature on your phone.
  2. Make sure that call waiting is turned on for your phone. This is usually done through the phone's settings menu.
  3. Try restarting your phone. This can sometimes resolve any issues with the phone's software.
  4. If the problem persists, you may need to have the phone inspected by a technician to determine the cause of the issue.

I can make calls but why can"t i receive calls on my vtech cs6649-2 phone?

Check out your manual for troubleshooting. Google the phone and model # with your question. I have a guess the ringer is turned OFF or wiring is not correct. Good luck.

Is it more expensive to call from a satellite phone than a regular mobile phone?

yes it is quite a bit more expensive to make calls with a satellite phone. receiving calls is usually free for the person with a satellite phone, but whoever is calling you will be very unhappy when they get their bill. it can cost up to 15$ per minute to call a satellite phone

Why not display incoming calls

Is your display on your phone working, and its just that the incoming calls notification is not working when you recieve calls? Have you tried a hard reset? (battery pull)
If your phones display is functioning, then more then likely it has to do with your settings of your phone. A long time ago with a older phone I had, I accidentally some how turned off my phones incoming calls notification. I was able to remedy this, but calling the phone company and they walked me through how to go into my phones settings and turn the incoming calls notifications back on. I would try this if you cant find it under your phones settings to turn the incoming calls notifications back on. Hope this helps. ;)

How to remove call from call logs?

Your cell phone keeps track of every call you make and receive through it, including a caller's phone number and the date and time a call took place. If you answered the call, it records how long you talked. If you do not want this type of information about your habits to remain on your phone, you can delete records of individual cell phone calls received, dialed or missed, or delete the entire call log at once.

Delete Call Log

1.From the home screen, click the "Menu" button on your phone to navigate to the main menu of your cell phone. This is where your call log application is located, among other features such as your address book and text messaging.

2.Click on the "Call Log" or "Recent Calls" icon. The name may vary slightly depending on your cell phone provider.

3.Select " All Calls" from the call log screen.

4.Scroll down and select "Delete All." This will delete all calls from your call log.

Can I divert calls from this phone to another phone? Thanks MArk David

  • Figure out if your particular cell phone model has the option to forward incoming calls. You can do this by visiting your cell phone manufacturer's website or reading the manufacturer's manual that came along with the purchase.

  • Access the "Settings" menu on your cell phone and select "Phone Settings" menu.

  • Select the "Call Forwarding" option in the "Phone Settings menu. This option is usually found at the bottom of the "Phone Settings" menu. Selecting the "Call Forwarding" option gives you access to call-forwarding controls.

  • Switch on the "Call Forwarding" slider. The default position is off.

  • Insert the phone number you wish to forward your calls to in the "Forward To" field. This field most commonly lies below the "Call Forwarding" slider.

  • Exit the setup menu by pressing the home button. You may be asked to confirm/save the changed settings depending on your cell phone model.

  • Make a test phone call to the cell phone number on which you just enabled the call rerouting option. If the call is forwarded and received on the number you entered, it means that the "Call Forwarding" option has been activated.

Please ..need to know how to get other call on call waiting.. cordless phone 5.8

Adding call waiting as a feature to your telephone can help you take calls that you are waiting for without having to stay off the phone until that important call comes in. With call waiting, you get a beep when you are on another call to let you know that another call is coming in. If you want to take the call, you follow the simple steps outlined in this article.
    1. ep 1 Order call waiting from your phone provider if you do not already have it. Cal waiting works best with caller ID features that give you the phone number and name of the person calling you. Phone numbers that have blocked numbers or use *67 to mask their caller ID will not show up on caller ID.
    2. Step 2 Take a call when your phone rings. While you are talking on the phone and hear a beep, you are receiving another phone call. Using your caller ID function, whether it's on your answering machine or on your handset for the telephone, see who is calling you. If you want to talk to them, quickly press your "talk" button to put the other call on hold or disconnect. Press "talk" again to take the incoming call.
    3. Step 3 Disregard the other phone call if you do not want to terminate the call you are on. The new call coming in may go to your answering machine. Or if you have the call back feature on your telephone, you can simply call *69. Your phone will dial the number of the person whose call you just missed.
    4. Step 4 Use call waiting as politely as you can. You might tell someone who you are talking to that you are expecting an important call and may have to terminate the call abruptly. Call waiting calls should be answered as quickly as you can. After four rings, most phone calls go right to the machine or people hang up. Promise to call your first caller back if you have to interrupt the call
