Hello dusashbrax,

The wiring color code for the 2002 Blazer is here. Just match up the function of each wire on the aftermarket receiver with the appropriate color wire from the vehicle.

A better solution is to purchase a vehicle specific wiring harness. Then you just match it up with the receiver harness color for color.

Hope this helps.

I had bought a dual xd1222 aftermarket stereo. i bought a gm2000 harness for it to hook up in my 2002 chevy cavalier. i have all the wires connected but when i hook it up in the carit will not work. what...

check the fuse behind the stereo and in your fuse box first off and make sure the power wire/ignition wires are on the correct pin. do this with a test light for verification. also check the ground wire. after you test and connect these 3 wires, the stereo should turn on. Your wiring harness may not be done correctly so visual verification with a test light would be the best thing before starting a car install. If this still does not work and the stereo you took out did, it is a malfunctioning unit.

Which color wires go together in a 2002 chevy impala stereo to make it turn on?

If its an aftermarket stereo, the Yellow wire will be 12v all the time. Red is when ignition is turned on, and black is ground. The rest are speaker wires. Mike. Rate 100% please.

in order to use the streering wheel controls you have to have a stereo with a remote control. you can the purchase a part that will connect to your steering wheel controls and send a signal to your stereo. i do not know what the name of the part it is, but if you check with a local electronics store I'm sure they can help you.
