Re: eject button

The eject buttons are not typically available seperate. I've checked other sources such as ebay and pronto as well, but they turned up nothing. Rather than voiding the warranty of the camera by disassembling it, use the warranty and argue with samsung that the fault in the eject button is their responsibility, and i don't see why you'd have to pay for the repairs, as long as the camera doesn't show signs of it being dropped.

Hope this helps :)

My camera won't turn on, and I dong know what to do it charges both buttons turn red but it won't eject my disc the screen won't come on or anything

I have a DCR-HC32. I left mine out in the rain. It would not power on. There is a reset button on the side of the eject tape door. I held this in for 5-10 seconds, the camera beeped and I was then able to eject the tape. This was after I put the camera in the freezer over night since I left it out and it got wet. My touch screen doesn't work. I already bought a new camera.

Sony PC-105 - camera won't charge, hence tape will not eject. Is

I just had the same issue except I left my camera out in the rain. My camera is a DCRF-HC32 Sony Handicam. There is a reset button on the side of the camera where the eject door is. Take a paper clip and hold the reset button in for 5-10 secs. The camera will beep, power on, open the door and it ejected.

I have a Sony CCD-FX410 8mm camcorder. It is in excellent condition. I was going to transfer all my 8mm tapes to DVD and decided I should get a head cleaner for it. Found one at BestBuy, put it in and it...

This is my 3rd try to get a solution. I have a Sony 8mm camcorder, CCD-FX410 and a head cleaning tape is stuck in it and I can't get it out. This camera is in EXCELLENT condition. I tried going to Sony's website and they no longer offer service on it. Both of the other people who answered this told me to turn power off, unplug cord, turn on to VTR and wait 15 seconds, then plug cord in again. It didn't work. After I put the head cleaner in, it wouldn't play and kept trying to eject. Finally it just started beeping and flashing an icon in the viewfinder. Manual says to send for repair. Any ideas on what I can do? Can not get tape ejected. Thank you.

I know CCD-FX410 camcorder was launched in July 1992 and I also know what is the reason of problem in your camcorder and I'm afraid it can not be solved because its an old piece now. Parts are no longer available and problem is leaky electrolytic capacitors on its circuit boards. Time factor is involve here, it is not operational mistake.
I can help you out to eject stuck head cleaner tape in camcorder. If you are looking to bring it back in business then it is not possible because an experienced camera tech can repair it and will charge you more then camcorder worth.

Hit "add a comment" button to assist you in ejecting tape. You need to apart camcorder and should have 4 or 6 volt DC supply in hand.

Memory stick eject

well to record onto, switch the power button to "camera mode". this will let the camera know to record as well as take pictures onto the memory stik.

As for ejecting the memory stik, jus simply push it INWARD gently and it will spring OUTWARD toward you. to put it bac, do the opposite till the card locks into place

I had the same problem. The batteries do not last. When the battery becomes weak it can not run the tape so it tells you to eject it.
Buy a new bigger battery. I bought a 160 for ~$30.

Eject flashes on screen

Good News!! I have found a way to fix this loud high pitch "grinding" noise, sudden battery
"draining" accompanied by the eject "D" symbol being displayed only after a few seconds of tape
play. And absolutely No thanks to Samsung's customer service. Although seemingly polite, I had to
talk to 6 customer service representatives before they properly transferred me to Executive
Customer Relation(ECR). They said they were experiencing technical difficulties. Once I got through,
the ECR rep. insisted that the repairs will cost $160 mainly due to the cost of the parts and also
admitted that he didn't know much about the technical aspect of the camcorder.

It is indeed a mechanical problem. The camcorder had only been used three times and kept in
storage in its original box with no temperature extremes since I had puchased it at the end of 2006.

Here is the SOLUTION:
1) Gently unscrew and remove the front casing portion of the camcorder.
2) Directly underneath the lens there is crosslike metal support that extends from the tape
compartment chassis. The green circuit board should rest on top of it as shown below instead of
being under it .

Now the camcorder functions properly consistently. The cost = $ 0.

Eject tape message with a "D"

I have the same issue with this model and contacted Samsung. They extended my labor warranty and are paying for the shipment to send it in. They said there is a known issue of this model experiencing the problem and they will repair or replace the camera. Hope this can help you, too.

DVD Camcorder appears to have erased disc mid record!

I know it won't play in a dvd player till it is finalized. Leave it in camera mode, hit menu, and scroll down till you see the option to finalize. If you finalize it, it should play in a dvd player. I am having a problem with my camera(same model) where it won't finalize the disc. Any help out there?
