Question about D-Link DI 713p (DI-713P) Wireless Router
I have a DI-713P D-Link router and a Linksys USB plug in. I am trying to connect my home PC to the internet using this system but I am having trouble connecting. I have cable access and I have it plugged into my modem, I then connected my modem to the wireless router and have installed my USB adapter. I am picking up other close networks but can't seem to get mine to work. How do I get this problem solved?
Try checking the channel number of communication
check to see if the router has been enable on the broadcasting mode
do check if the router has been configured for WEP or WPA
check to see if the access is based on MAC address on the router
finally place the connection from the modem to the router in the ports numbered 1,2,3,4 instead of the INTERNET/WAN port and try connecting
